I created the My Backpack Buddy App using the tools I wish I had when I first struggled with my mental health, and later, with postnatal depression. My goal is to give you a space where you can pause, reflect, and take care of yourself — whether that’s through gentle reminders, practical tools, or encouragement to start a conversation with someone you trust.

This isn’t just an App — it’s a place to build a community where mental health can be talked about openly and safely. Here, kindness comes first. Advice can be shared, similarities can be recognised, and small victories — even a simple smile — are celebrated.

Through the App, I hope to help people feel seen, supported, and less alone. I want it to be a space where talking about mental health isn’t daunting, but something that brings us together. A place where you can take a moment for yourself, reach out if you need to, and know that even the smallest step forward matters.

I hope that, in some small way, using the App or spending a moment in this community can put a smile on your face and remind you that you are never alone
